JUNIOR ACADEMY

Our Marble Falls Junior Academy is a program designed to provide age appropriate development and competition to boys & girls U7-U10 (2018 Thru 2016) that would like to train more regularly with our LTFC professional coaches. The JA focuses on technical development of the individual player and team, whilst making it an enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone! Our JA teams play in the CAYSA JA league. Players will train in the Marble Falls area and play there home games at world class grass fields at Field of Dreams in the Bee Cave area.

Program Description

The U8 program is a progression of the U7. Our focus is still on individual technical development but we look to add more detail in terms of linking it with your teammates. 


Age Group: 2018 (We may accept 2019s)

Training Days: 

Tuesday & Thursday 5:30-6:45p 


Training Location:  

Rotary Park, Marble Falls


Game Location: 

Field of Dreams (Bee Cave) & The Greater Austin Area. 


Game Day: 

Saturdays, 2 games per day.


Structure: 

5v5 or 7v7 (With a Goalkeeper)

The U9 program is a step up from our 5v5 curriculum. At U9 we move into combinations with others on your team, whilst still applying the technical focus.  We will strive to improve your players understanding of the game by putting them into more small-sided game like situations.

Description Title

In the U10 program, we are looking at getting players ready for select soccer by increasing the intensity of technical ability and understanding for the game. We look to put players into challenging decision making moments, whilst still trying to foster a love for the game!

Monday & Wednesday 5-6pm (Boys)

Tuesday & Thursday 5-6pm (Girls)

  • WHAT IS JUNIOR ACADEMY?

    The Academy program is for players aged U8 through U10 (born 2018-2016) who are ready to be challenged for a hollistic learning process. 



  • HOW TO ORDER UNIFORMS?

    1) Click the soccer.com uniform order link that will be linked down below.

    2) Hover over the word 'Collections' and select the drop down that says "LTFC Jr Academy"

    3) Type in the players last name and number youd like to order (it can be any number 1-99)

    4) Select the correct size for all items, no required items will be able to be removed from your cart.

  • WHO DO WE PLAY AGAINST?

    We participate in the CAYSA Academy League that includes teams from the Austin and Greater Austin area. 

  • WHEN CAN MY SON/DAUGHTER JOIN THE ACADEMY?

    This Spring we are enrolling players born between 2018-2016. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • WHAT EQUIPMENT DOES MY PLAYER NEED?

    For each practice and game players need soccer specific shoes (cleats or turf shoes), a size 4 soccer ball, shinguards (worn under the socks), and a water bottle. They will be required to wear our training uniform that is part of the uniform kit.

  • IS IT POSSIBLE TO COME INTO THE ACADEMY PROGRAM WITH A FRIEND AND PLAY ON THE SAME TEAM?

    If they are at the same playing level they can remain together. If they are at different playing levels, they may be moved to different teams based on our observation periods.

  • WHO COACHES THE TEAMS?

    All Academy teams are coached by our professional staff. See the club staff page for more information

  • HOW ARE TEAMS FORMED?

    We will use the first few weeks of each season as an evaluation period that our staff will use to place players on teams based on skill and ability.  Each family will receive an email at the end of observations notifying them of their team and the coach that will be assigned to the team.

  • WHEN ARE PRACTICE SESSIONS?

    ALL Junior Academy teams will train Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30-6:45pm. 

  • HOW MANY GAMES ARE IN THE SEASON?

    Teams will have 14-18 games per season.

  • WHEN AND WHERE WILL THE GAMES BE PLAYED ?

    Games will be played at the Field of Dreams, Bee Creek Sports Complex or at other locations around Austin, including: Wells Point Park, Dripping Springs, Old Settlers Park. 

     All games are played Saturday between 9:00 AM – 5 PM 

  • WHAT SIZE BALL IS USED?

    Academy players use a size 4 ball.

  • WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?

    There are no refunds for Select and Junior Academy programs. In U11-U19, most fees are included during registration once a player accepts a team offer directly after tryouts. Fees for Junior Academy are collected in the fall and spring, prior to team formation each season. Extra costs to expect are uniforms, and 1-3 optional tournaments
